Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Why not try your hand at Stand-up Paddle Boarding, or SUP to give the sport its cooler and much less unwieldy name.
We have 8 SUP’s for hire allowing your friends and family to learn together and race across the lake.
Essentially it involves standing on what looks like a big surfboard, and then, a bit like a Venetian gondolier, propelling yourself through the water with your paddle in hand.
The beauty about SUP is that it can be as physically demanding as you choose.
The SUP ‘s are suitable for anyone aged 11 and older and must be a minimum height of 1.5m
All participants must be able to swim
Wet suits are compulsory.
Health and fitness experts all over the world are quickly catching up with the outstanding cross-training benefits of SUP’s. It brings together legs, back, feet, arms, neck and stomach muscles in a graceful display of core strength and balance. Therefore giving a full cardiovascular workout whilst also having alot of fun!
