Terms and Conditions

We welcome you to Blackpool Wake Park and look forward to you participating in our activities and in doing so would ask that you take a moment to read our Terms and Conditions

Who can participate?

All participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25 meters and must be comfortable in open water. Age restrictions vary for each activity; please check our terms for the activity of your choice prior to making a booking.

Arrival

Participants must arrive at least 45 minutes before their session, to ensure you have enough time to register, obtain safety equipment and get changed prior to the start of the safety briefing for your session.

We will try to accommodate late arrivals on the next available session that day, if all sessions are full, we will not refund payment.

Safety

By participating in any of the activities you agree to abide by our safety rules which are in place to make your stay safe and fun for all involved including other visitors and staff. Blackpool Wake Park reserves the right to ask any person to leave the water who is endangering themselves or others by their behaviour.

What to wear

Wetsuits are compulsory for all activities and can either be hired or you can wear your own. Buoyancy aids and helmets provided by Blackpool Wake Park must be worn at all times during the activities, those found removing them will be asked to leave the water.

We don’t have access to showers, so treat your trip like a day out to the beach – bring a towel and swimming trunks / costume with you. Be prepared to get wet, dry yourself and get changed again.

Medical

In signing our disclaimer you acknowledge that you and/or your child is physically fit and DO NOT have any pre-existing medical condition which precludes you from taking part in the activities  (including pregnant women).

Refunds and Cancellations

Any refunds will be made in vouchers or the session re-booked for a future date where possible.

Cancellations of individual sessions must be made 48 hours prior to a session taking place, failure to do so will result in forfeiture.

Cancellations made prior to 48 hours before the session start time must be re-scheduled for a future date at the time of cancellation. Any subsequent changes made to a booking will incur a £5 admin fee.

Please also note that we don’t issue refunds for arriving late for a session but we will endeavour to fit you in if there is availability.

Blackpool Wake Park reserve the right to cancel any session due to adverse weather conditions such as a thunder storm or high winds. Sessions will be re-scheduled at the earliest convenience.

Personal Belongings

Any personal belongings or valuables are the sole responsibility of their owner.
Outdoor lockers are available and require a small padlock, bring your own or you can buy one on site for £5.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome on site but, for hygiene reasons, are not allowed in the cafe area or indoor seating area.

Car Park

Parking is free but is limited so please car share where possible within your group. Visitors park at their own risk and Blackpool Wake Park cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or possessions. Children should be accompanied in this area at all times.
